Security is very tight in Istanbul since the bombing last sunday. I had to go through security to get into the hotel which is a first. Leave tomorrow for chicago.

We can eat lunch and dinner at the employees cafe for 5 lire which is about 3 dollars and the food is good. So I may be eating there this winter. i have met crusiers and this sat. the marina is doing a barbeque for cruisers. I head home on monday trying is get the boat in shape.

Turkey

we arrived on the 15th and the temp was 115 degrees. I hired an agent to do the paper work for the boat and ourselves vises etc. It was worth the price because of the heat the agent was able to do it in 3 hours it would of taken us a full day. The turks are very friendly and the food is very good. The marine is nice and the toilets are spotless. I can’t download pictures for some reason . There are quite a lot of english and american boats so i think the winter will be fun.
